Regional Arts Australia Volunteer Awards 2008
Regional Arts Australia is pleased to announce that nominations are now open for the inaugural Regional Arts Australia Volunteer Awards.
Nominations close 5pm, Wednesday 16 July 2008
A total of 14 awards will be presented, one from each state and territory in two categories:
- Sustained Contribution to the Arts.
- Youth Award (aged 26 years or under).
The Regional Arts Australia Volunteer Awards recognise, reward and encourage regionally-based artists and cultural volunteers who have made a substantial contribution to the arts in regional communities in Australia.
Award recipients will gain national recognition for their contribution, plus the added bonus of free flights, registration and accommodation to art at the heart, Regional Arts Australia's national conference to be held in Alice Springs in October.
