Arts law in association with Arts SA will present a series of free workshops and seminars for artists, arts organisations and creative persons over a two day period.
Topics for seminars will be drawn from the following, being:
- copyright, moral rights, Indigenous IP issues
- contracts & licensing
- prizes & competitions for creators, eg writers, filmmakers, visual artists
- legal issues for arts organisations, eg board & governance issues, auspicing
- employment issues for artists & organisations, contractor or employee?
- liability, risk management & insurance
- how to protect your name
- legal issues for festivals (organisers & artists)
