When negotiating an agreement between an interviewer and interviewee the primary consideration is whether the interviewee will have any editorial control and/or hold copyright in the interview.

If the interviewee does not wish to exercise editorial control over the interview then Arts Law's Performer's Release is sutiable to use as a basis for a written agreement between the interviewer and interviewee. However, if the interviewee does wish to retain some editorial control over the recorded interview, then the Interviewee's Release will be suitable as a starting point for a written agreement between the parties.
