A sample agreement used where an artist allows a gallery to exhibit and sell works for a set period, in exchange for which the gallery deducts a commission on works sold and returns those that are not sold at the end of the consignment period. Under this agreement the Artist "consigns" artworks to the Gallery for a set period during which the Gallery sells the artworks on the Artist's behalf.

This sample agreement includes the most common terms that an artist and gallery will need to consider and agree on.
