Head’s Up for Performers in NSW

Apparently NSW Industrial Relations should soon complete its review of that State’s Entertainment Industry Act. In 2009, the NSW government agreed to consider the removal of the  existing licencing scheme for industry representatives and to introduce new measures to protect performers from unscrupulous agents subject to a full review of the whole Act. We will be watching for the report of the review and will let you know what it means for performers in New South Wales.
