Seeing the Big Picture: Photography Law Workshop with PhotoAccess

Seeing the Big Picture – Photography Law workshop

Taking photographs means creating copyright. In this free workshop, we will take the confusion out of the many legal issues around creating, licensing, exhibiting and selling your photography and photo-based art. The workshop will cover copyright, moral rights, contracts and give you some tips on negotiating better deals with agents and galleries as well as some tips for understanding competition terms and conditions.

About the presenter: Arts Law CEO Robyn Ayres

Robyn has been a lawyer for over 20 years and the CEO of Arts Law since 2002. In 2004 she established Arts Law’s Artists in the Black program, a legal advice service specifically for Indigenous artists. She is committed to ensuring that artists and arts organisations properly understand their rights as well as their legal responsibilities and are fairly rewarded for the work they do.
