National Cultural Policy

Federal, State and Territory Arts and Cultural Ministers met in Melbourne last week to discuss the development of the National Cultural Policy. Arts Law is pleased at their commitment to the development of an Arts Accord over the next 12 months, recognising that real change is optimised through partnership and collaboration. The Ministers also welcomed progress in the implementation of the Major Performing Arts Framework and agreed to create an Excellence Pool to support Australia’s major Performing Arts companies.
