Interviewee’s Release: Short form

by Arts Law Centre of Australia

This sample Interviewee's Release: Short form should be used when an interviewer verbally interviews another person (the interviewee), wishes to record and use the interview and does not make any payment or provide any other form of compensation to the Interviewee in exchange for the release. The effect of this deed of release is that the interviewee cannot make any claim against the interviewer in relation to the issues addressed in the release.

If the interviewee wishes to place more detailed restrictions on the use of the interview or provides some kind of compensation, the interviewer may want to use Arts Law’s more detailed Interviewee's Release.
