Laugh Your Arts Off 2019

This September a sell-out crowd gathered at Giant Dwarf in Redfern for the annual Laugh Your Arts Off comedy fundraiser. The event was hosted by Hearts For Arts Law (HFAL), a committee of young lawyers who give up their time to raise funds for Arts Law. Once again, the night was a huge success, raising over $4000 for Arts Law to continue our work supporting Australian artists.

Host Carlo Ritchie kept the night moving and shared with us his secret passion for the Titanic, in two languages no less! We had a Golden Gavel winner tell us why coming second is bad for your career, a not-safe-for-work song about Mrs Claus and a comedy/revenge violin performance.

A huge thank you to all our fantastic performers; Jen Carnovale, Lauren Bonner, Dan Rath, Blake Freeman, Songtourage, Sam Campbell, Oliver Twist, Joseph Bates, Floyd Alexander-Hunt and perennial newcomer David Mierendorff. And of course we would like to thank the HFAL committee, whose ongoing work is a vital contribution to Arts Law.
