SCREEN CREATORS: WHAT’S THE LAW?

SCREEN CREATORS: WHAT'S THE LAW?

The Arts Law Centre of Australia aims at providing accessible legal services for artists and arts organisations. In partnership with the Media Resource Centre, Arts Law is pleased to present a seminar on the legal issues affecting screen creators. Lawyers John Vozzo, from Law firm Camatta Lempens, and Greg Marsh, South Australian Film Corporation, will explain the basics of copyright law in relation to film, contracts and chain of title. They will also discuss legal issues concerning working online, such as online collaborative projects and online distribution.

A panel discussion will follow the legal presentations. Participants are encouraged to post any question they would like addressed during the workshop on MRC's facebook page or via twitter@MRCAdelaide using #ALCScreen or by emailing [email protected]
