Arts Law made a submission in relation to an inquiry by the Commonwealth Treasury into financial reporting for unlisted public companies regarding financial report for not for profit (NFP) companies operating in the arts. Arts Law argued that reporting for NFPs should be streamlined and simplified but that minimum reporting requirements are essential for ensuring public confidence in the manner in which NFP funds are spent.
