Tasmanian Government to consider public feedback on draft heritage legislation

The Department of Primary Industries, Parks, Water and Environment has released two reports collating feedback from the public on the draft Aboriginal Heritage Protection Bill 2012 (Tas).

It is now up to the Tasmanian Government to consider the outcomes of the public consultation over the next two months in order to provide further instruction for a revised Bill.  The Bill is expected to be introduced to Parliament in the second half of 2013.
